14 days of meals

So I just planned 14 days of meals (15 more coming later) that are kid friendly and easy to make and thought I would share with you. Enjoy! (I seem to be having issues with the layout, I apologize for the skinny columns)

Spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, French bread

Brown meat, drain and add sauce. Boil spaghetti to al dente. Brown bread in oven and serve with salad.

1 lb ground beef or turkey

1 can spaghetti sauce

Loaf of French bread

Beef Stew, crusty bread, pudding

Cut potatoes, carrots and onion into bite size pieces. Combine all ingredients (meat, veggies, French onion packet, can of broth) into crock pot. Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper as desired. Cover remaining meat and veggies with water. Cook on low for 5-7 hours or until meat is tender.

1 packet French onion soup mix

Instant pudding mix

Frozen pizzas, fruit salad

Fruit Salad: Oranges, apples, bananas, cocoanut shredded, walnuts chopped, tiny bit of orange juice, tiny bit of powdered sugar.

2 frozen pizzas of choice

Grilled double decker ham and cheese, tomato soup, applesauce

Butter two pieces of bread. Add bread cheese, ham, bread, cheese, ham, bread. Grill.

Chicken Tacos, Cookies

Cook and cube chicken, cut tomatoes and lettuce. Set out in bowls along with cheese and black beans.

Mac and Cheese (crock pot version….not so much healthy)

Add 1 cup milk,cheese, soups and 3 hard boiled cut up eggs in crock pot on low. Pre-cook macaroni and add to crock pot 15 min before serving.

1 box elbow macaroni

1 3lb Velveeta cube

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 Can cream of celery soup

Basil tomato pesto pasta

Cook pasta according to package, save ½ cup of pasta water after you drain. Put pasta back in pan, add pesto (1/2 or ¼ cup) and add water back into pasta. Add halved cherry tomatoes (2-2 ½ cups) Stir and add shredded parmesan.

Flank steak salad with feta

Marinade: ½ cup soy sauce, 2 T minced garlic (or powder) 1 t ginger, 1 T lemon juice, 2 T olive oil. 1 t pepper, 1 T chopped onion or dried onion. Combine in bag with steaks, Marinate all day in fridge. Cook or grill steaks. Add to Salad, top with feta.

Sour cream waffles (for dinner) with fresh fruit

1 3/4 cups all purpose flour, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 tablespoon baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt

8 Tb butter (1 cube) butter melted

1 cup milk, 1/2 cup sour cream, 3 large eggs. Whisk dry ingredients, add to rest of ingred. Cook with waffle iron, top with fruit.

Chicken Bruchetta casserole

Cook stuffing according to package, add soup and ½ bag of cheese. Cook chicken and cube. Spray 13x9 casserole dish with Pam, add chicken, layer on stewed tomatoes and then stuffing mixture. Cover with remaining cheese. Cook 350 for 35-40 minutes.

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 box stuffing mix

Crock pot chili

Brown beef. Add to crock pot along with everything else including chopped onion. Add spice to taste. Top with shredded cheese.

Cook bacon, toast toast, Add mayo, lettuce and tomato. We add cooked egg with cheese…mmmm.

Maid rites, French fries, veggie

Brown meat. Simmer in crock pot with chicken broth, 2-3 T A1 and soy sauce, 1 chopped onion, salt/pepper to taste. Serve on buns with fries.
